Job summary

Tesco Stores Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Technical Programme Manager to lead the Colleague Listening rollout, coordinating Product, Engineering and a 3rd party vendor to deliver a first-class platform.

You will shape roadmaps, manage risks, dependencies and stakeholder expectations while embedding GDPR, security, testing and disaster recovery requirements across the programme.

• Proven track record delivering technology and/or infrastructure across multiple teams/geographies.
• Ability to build relationships and influence senior management & leadership teams.
• Strong project, stakeholder & programme management skills.
• Excellent communication & influencing skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver complex programmes with multiple business and technical risks that will impact Tesco priorities.
• Apply and improve delivery approaches to achieve programme goals.
• Initiate and shape programmes with ambiguous scope and uncertain delivery approach.
• Create and track a plan to deliver programme goals and technical implementation.
• Understand trade-offs in software delivery to get best value and solution.
• Foresee risks, manage issues and escalations effectively.
• Adopt trends and new concepts in programme and product delivery.
• Understand a technical architecture to foresee dependencies and timelines.
• Know engineering best practices and practical infrastructure implementations.
• Understand technology concepts and their implications on delivery.
• Coordinate incidents in the colleague space and keep stakeholders informed.
