Job summary

Bank of England in Leeds and London is recruiting a Commercial Category Manager to deliver end-to-end procurement support within the Technology category. You will build and manage a robust pipeline, run or support technology procurements, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver maximum value.

The role requires strong commercial acumen, MCIPS or progress towards it, and a track record of working across project lifecycles in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Experience building a robust commercial pipeline and delivering technology procurements.
• Experience with PCR-level public procurement and public-sector frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end commercial support to the Commercial partner and maintain procurement pipelines.
• Work with technology stakeholders to prioritise commercial activity and ensure collaboration.
• Facilitate sourcing workshops and define sourcing strategies.
• Follow governance processes to resolve commercial matters.
• Identify benefits with Finance and realise savings in procurements and contracts.
• Embed effective risk management and use eProcurement systems efficiently.
• Develop commercial competencies through training and regular engagement.
• Drive sustainability within the category and identify opportunities.
• Maintain trackers for waivers, savings, pipelines and sourcing events.
• Collaborate with the Commercial Delivery team to apply supplier and contract management practices.
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
