Job summary

Eden Brown Synergy is seeking an experienced Team Manager to lead the Assessment & Kinship Fostering team in Devon. The role focuses on managing service delivery, supporting carers and families, and ensuring statutory duties are fulfilled with a child-centered approach.

You will oversee a team of social workers and practitioners, work with multi-agency partners, and drive development of the team within a flexible hybrid work arrangement from Exeter.

Qualifications

• Social Work England registration required.
• Driver with access to own car preferred.
• UK resident status required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Fostering team, overseeing day-to-day support and assessments.
• Ensure high-quality support services for carers, families and private fostering.
• Manage a team of social workers and family practitioners.
• Collaborate with social work teams, families, carers and partners to meet children’s needs.
• Oversee assessments of needs and support plans for carers and families.
• Manage resources and budgets effectively.
