Job summary

Michael Page International Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Tax Manager for a large services business in the West Malling area. You will lead corporate tax, VAT, and compliance, and support tax planning while liaising with external advisers and auditors.

The role offers hybrid working, a salary between £75,000 and £85,000 FTE for 3 days per week, and a strong pension. You will ensure IFRS/UK GAAP alignment and robust governance across the tax function.

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified accountant or tax specialist with demonstrable corporate taxation experience.
• Strong technical expertise in UK tax legislation and HMRC guidance.
• Solid understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP and tax accounting implications.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation, review and submission of corporate tax returns and statutory filings.
• Oversee VAT, PAYE, and indirect tax compliance, including customs duties and import VAT.
• Manage interim and year-end tax provisions and liaise with external auditors.
