Job summary

Acorn Insurance, part of the Acorn Group, is recruiting for a Systems Support Analyst in Liverpool. You will provide system support to business users, log bugs with third-party providers, and participate in UAT testing while collaborating with compliance and technical teams.

The role involves supporting the distribution of insurance products through bespoke software toolsets, with hybrid working in Liverpool City Centre and standard 9-5 hours plus 1 in 3 Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with insurance or legal domain is beneficial.
• Familiar with product tooling such as Product Builder and reporting tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide System support to the business user base.
• Recreation of system bugs and accurate bug logging with third party system providers.
• Participate and support in UAT software testing.
• Work closely with the internal compliance department to ensure system documents are maintained and compliant.
• Assist in the maintenance and distribution of insurance products from a technological perspective, utilising bespoke software house toolsets.
• Participate in production support (1st line) and continuous improvement activities to enhance team practices and maintain high quality solutions.
• Work closely with department management to define product solutions at a technical level whilst considering best practice, version and change control.
• Work closely with software house Analysis, Technical and Development teams as necessary.
• Assist with application and product testing as required.
