Job summary

Fynity Limited is seeking Systems Design Engineers to join a growing team delivering advanced integrated operational systems used in land and maritime environments. The role is hybrid, with 3 to 4 days on site in Bristol due to the nature of the work, and SC clearance is required.

You’ll contribute to the design and development of integrated systems software, supporting both enhancements to existing platforms and the development of new capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in systems engineering or design within complex environments.
• Background in defence, aerospace, marine, rail or similar industries.
• Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the functional design of complex software systems.
• Collaborate with systems and software architects to shape solutions.
• Analyse requirements, interfaces and system behaviour.
• Propose design improvements and technical solutions.
• Explore performance, including algorithmic and data-driven elements.
