Job summary

London Gatwick is seeking a Programme Manager to lead its Sustainability programme, guiding a multi-disciplinary team through procurement, delivery and transition to operations within a live airport environment. You will drive decarbonisation, water and energy efficiency, EV infrastructure, and collaborate with stakeholders to shape strategy and deliver high-impact projects.

The role offers an office-first hybrid setup with three days in the office, two remote, and a competitive package

Qualifications

Proven experience delivering complex, multi-year programmes in construction or infrastructure.
Experience leading teams of 20–30 people.
Experience managing external suppliers, contractors and delivery partners.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with board-level audiences.
Expert stakeholder management in complex environments.

Responsibilities

Lead a high-performing programme team to deliver the Sustainability programme from procurement through to operations.
Oversee technical, financial and commercial aspects to meet objectives.
Uphold health, safety and environmental standards across the programme.
Identify risks and keep project timelines on track while ensuring airport operations.
Mentor and develop team members to reach their potential.
