Placements24 is seeking a meticulous and analytical Supply Chain Analyst to optimize logistics operations within the FMCG sector. The role is based in Gauteng with a hybrid work setup, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

You will analyze data, develop dashboards, and collaborate with logistics teams to improve delivery times, inventory turnover, and costs. A strong background in ERP systems and forecasting is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
• 3–5 years in supply chain analysis or logistics within FMCG.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with data interpretation.
• Proficiency in SAP, Oracle ERP, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and bottlenecks.
• Develop reports and dashboards tracking KPIs such as delivery times and costs.
• Collaborate with logistics providers and internal teams to streamline operations.
• Optimize inventory to minimize stockouts and reduce holding costs.
• Conduct cost–benefit analyses for proposed changes and recommend solutions.
• Support implementation of new supply chain strategies and technologies.
• Forecast demand to ensure adequate stock across distribution centers.
• Identify process improvements and implement best practices in supply chain management.
