• Proven expertise in budget and contract negotiations within a clinical trial setting.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to risk mitigation.
• Experience handling challenges such as quality/compliance concerns; legal issues; deliverable-specific risks affecting timelines.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to influence and mentor stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment while managing multiple deliverables and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Lead budget and contract negotiations with a deep understanding of the local regulatory environment and its implications for study start-up activities.
• Address and resolve issues by influencing investigators, vendors, external partners, and country managers with minimal support.
• Independently make decisions with limited oversight while proactively developing risk management and mitigation strategies for the country.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, quality standards, and protocol milestones during the start-up phase.
