Job summary

The University of Strathclyde Students' Association is seeking a Student Ambassador to support the Recruitment and International Office with Open Days, visits, and campus tours. The role is ad-hoc, flexible, and can be done virtually or in person, fitting around a student’s schedule.

Applicants must be current Strathclyde students for 2026/27, possess excellent communication skills, be outgoing and confident speaking to groups, and be reliable with good time management.

Qualifications

• Be a continuing student at the University of Strathclyde in the academic session 2026/27.
• Have excellent communications skills.
• Be outgoing, friendly and confident talking to groups.
• Be willing to work outdoors and direct visitors.
• Be reliable, committed and able to manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead campus tours for prospective students and families.
• Welcome visitors and share your student experiences.
• Assist with Open Days and Applicant visits.
• Occasionally accompany staff on school visits.
