Job summary

Konker in Oxford is seeking a Structural Engineer to work on live projects across public sector, commercial, education and residential sectors. You will design and calculate structures, coordinating with the wider design team and delivering technical solutions with significant depth.

The role offers flexible and hybrid working with 2/3 days from home, and opportunities for progression within a collaborative studio.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Working towards or holding chartership with IStructE or ICE.
• Solid grounding in structural design across a range of building types.
• Proficiency with UK design standards including Eurocodes and Building Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Produce structural design calculations, drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with architects and consultants on live schemes.
• Apply UK design standards (Eurocodes) and current building regulations.
• Contribute to feasibility, planning and technical stages of projects.
