Job summary

Intensive Care National Audit & Research Centre (ICNARC) seeks a Statistician to join our multidisciplinary team. The role involves trial design and analysis to support our Clinical Trials Unit and the National Audit Programme, informing NHS policy and planning.

We offer a permanent, full-time position (37.5 hours per week) with hybrid working between ICNARC offices and home, and start as soon as possible. A strong MSc in Medical Statistics or related field is essential.

Qualifications

• MSc in Medical Statistics or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
• Familiarity with analysing routine health data and/or clinical trials.
• Familiarity with standard statistical software and ability to express technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide trial design and analysis for the Clinical Trials Unit.
• Provide statistical support for the National Audit Programme across health service providers.
