Job summary

Hyde is seeking a Stakeholder Engagement Officer in London to coordinate engagement with MPs and local councillors, ensuring timely, professional responses and adherence to service standards. You will act as Hyde's central point of contact for elected representative enquiries, analyze themes and risks, and work with colleagues to protect Hyde's reputation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing stakeholder relationships in housing/public sector contexts.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication with clear, politically aware correspondence.
• Proactive mindset to build constructive relationships and support customer outcomes.
• Ability to analyse data, identify trends and inform service improvements.
• Understanding of social housing regulation, governance and public accountability.

Responsibilities

• Act as main contact for MP and councillor enquiries with timely, accurate responses.
• Quality assure correspondence for tone, consistency and service standards.
• Build and maintain relationships with elected representatives and local authorities.
• Coordinate proactive engagement activities with elected representatives and external teams.
• Monitor enquiries, identify themes and risks, and produce improvement reports.
• Provide briefings to managers, heads of service and directors for high-profile matters.
