Job summary

Greencore, a leading UK creator of convenience food, offers a hybrid role focused on external specifications, regulatory changes and packaging data. You will document processes, validate materials, and drive continuous improvement to ensure compliance across packaging and labelling.

Ideal candidates hold an HND or equivalent, Level 2 food hygiene and Level 2 health & safety certificates, plus experience with retailer specification systems and food manufacturing labelling knowledge.

Qualifications

• HND level or equivalent professional qualification required.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene certification.
• Level 2 Health & Safety certification.
• Experience with computers and web-based customer specification systems.
• Knowledge and experience writing specifications for retailers in food manufacturing.
• Knowledge of legal labelling legislation.
• Experience with retailer own web-based systems.

Responsibilities

• Set up approval for external specifications and relevant technical information per customer requirements.
• Review artwork and ensure packaging complies with updated policies and regulatory changes.
• Document procedures to ensure internal and customer compliance.
• Develop gold standard specifications for raw materials to improve compliance.
• Validate specifications and processes to identify synergies and consolidation opportunities.
• Operate in line with Health, Safety and Environmental policies to keep the workplace safe.
