Job summary

bet365 is seeking a Software Developer to join a small team of talented developers following agile practices, to develop high quality scalable solutions.

The role is full-time and eligible for the company’s hybrid working from home policy, with a close date of 04 November 2026. You will work on building, supporting and enhancing existing codebases, while maintaining clean coding practices and collaborating across the business to deliver scalable software.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience within web client or server-side development.
• Technically strong in Golang or any other server-side language.
• Responsive design, mobile and web development.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical matters to people across different areas of the Business.
• Experience working with Linux.
• Experience working with Cloud platforms.
• Experience developing low latency, highly available and scalable solutions.
• Working in an environment with high volumes of transactions.
• Experience working with Scrum or other agile software development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Building, supporting and enhancing existing application code bases.
• Maintaining clean coding practices.
• Identifying technical areas of improvement.
• Supporting Product Owners as required.
• Supporting the Testing team during testing phases of projects.
• Contributing to solution proposals.
• Creating work effort estimates.
