Job summary

bet365 is seeking a Software Developer to join a small agile team to build high quality, scalable solutions within the Risk and Regulatory function. The role supports tooling, automation and platform architecture and aligns with a hybrid work-from-home policy.

Ideal candidates will have strong server-side development experience (Golang preferred), Linux, cloud platforms and a background in delivering low latency, highly available systems in a transaction-heavy environment.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience in web client or server-side development.
• Golang or another server-side language expertise.
• Experience in responsive design, mobile and web development.
• Ability to communicate technical matters to diverse business areas.
• Experience with Linux and cloud platforms.
• Experience building low latency, highly available systems.
• Experience in high transaction environments.
• Experience working with Scrum or other agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Building, supporting and enhancing existing code bases.
• Maintaining clean coding practices.
• Identifying technical areas for improvement.
• Supporting Product Owners as required.
• Supporting the Testing team during project testing phases.
• Contributing to solution proposals.
• Creating work effort estimates.
