Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Social Work Team Manager for the Children With Disabilities Team in Medway. The role offers hybrid working with two to three days in the office and five on duty, with a competitive hourly rate of £47.

You will lead a team of social workers, oversee complex casework, and develop plans with external partners while ensuring regulatory compliance and delivering service improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years post-qualifying experience in a permanent Local Authority role.
• Extensive knowledge of working with children with disabilities, safeguarding, and multi-agency collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead a dedicated team of social workers, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure high-quality care for children with disabilities.
• Oversee complex casework, delivering expert advice and solutions for challenging situations.
• Collaborate with external partners and agencies in Medway to develop effective support plans.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, adhering to best practice in social work.
• Implement and monitor team objectives, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.
• Develop strategic initiatives to improve overall service delivery within the Children With Disabilities Team.
