Job summary

The Compleat Food Group is seeking a Finance Manager to join our credible Finance team at the Middlesborough site on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will oversee the financial performance of the site and drive financial strategy, ensuring daily operations align with company objectives.

You will lead the onsite finance team, drive cost reduction and capital spend forecasting, and provide timely management accounts and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Finance qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ICAEW) required.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Natural leader with strong communication.
• Experience liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience driving business performance with accurate reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide site leadership support during growth.
• Drive Commercial & Operational initiatives.
• Lead margin improvement and cost reduction projects.
• Review capital proposals for financial soundness.
• Forecast capital spend and benefits; track delays.
• Produce daily and weekly KPI reporting.
• Prepare monthly site management accounts and variances.
• Maintain strong overhead control and cost awareness.
• Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Forecast and budget site performance.
• Monitor internal controls to mitigate risks.
• Lead onsite finance team and foster high performance.
