Job summary

A multidisciplinary consultancy in Northampton is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer. The role involves taking projects from concept through to completion, delivering technically challenging work across multiple sectors and liaising with clients and architects to ensure success.

Qualifications

Significant experience in structural engineering and project delivery.
Proficient with design software and able to produce calculations.
Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and standards.
Experience liaising with clients and architects is beneficial.

Responsibilities

Deliver structural engineering design across infrastructure, industrial, energy, commercial and other sectors.
Carry out structural analysis and complex calculations for steel and concrete structures.
Produce structural calculations, technical reports and engineering documentation.
Review drawings, contractor proposals and supplier information.
Coordinate with clients, contractors, architects and multidisciplinary teams.
Undertake site inspections and contribute to project delivery and technical compliance.
Mentor junior engineers and support technical development within the team.
Ensure designs comply with Eurocodes, British Standards and project requirements.
