Job summary

The Talent Ladder in the UK is seeking a Principal-level Solution Architect to own end-to-end solution design across large-scale transformations. The role is hybrid with London or Manchester as the base, and on-site presence at key stages.

You will work with senior clients, sales teams, and engineering leads to deliver robust, scalable architectures that are commercially viable, with security clearance prerequisites and a track record of shaping delivery and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Security clearance eligibility is a prerequisite.
• You must be a British citizen with no restrictions and eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance.
• Resident in the UK for the last five continuous years.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture across complex programmes.
• Lead key design decisions, risk management, and trade-offs at programme level.
• Shape solutions balancing technical quality with delivery constraints.
• Involve in sales/pre-sales activities and contribute to opportunities and bids.
• Mentor and coach less experienced architects.
