Job summary

Statkraft UK is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join the Solar Team. The role reports to the Principal Project in the Solar Team, with offices in London, Glasgow and Cardiff.

Hybrid work is offered, with regular UK travel and occasional international travel for the position. You will manage the solar project implementation workstream, driving planning permissions and project delivery from development to construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in renewables, engineering, planning, or related fields.
• Experience in renewable energy development or construction phases.
• Knowledge of the UK renewable energy market and NSIP/DCO process preferred.
• Strong English communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead solar project development from site identification through construction.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and procurement for civil and electrical works.
• Coordinate consultations with Local Planning Authorities and government bodies.
• Guide junior team members and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
