Job summary

Digital Data Foundation is seeking a Senior Legal Technologist to lead document automation and assembly initiatives, developing innovative ways to deliver compliant, scalable solutions across the firm.

Based in a hybrid London, Manchester, Leeds, or Edinburgh setup, you will supervise Legal Technologists, design automated workflows, implement upgrades, train teams, and stay ahead of market trends in legal tech and AI.

Qualifications

Degree in Law or equivalent education/experience.
Business information systems qualification or equivalent experience.
Experience in a global law firm or professional services environment.
Strong understanding of legal automation software (Clarilis, Contract Express, HighQ, HotDocs).
Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise in the creation of new automation solutions.
Supervisory/line management of Legal Technologists.
Design and implement automated document assembly solutions.
Work collaboratively across cross functional teams in Legal Technology and legal practice.
Build, update and maintain automated products and provide support.
Identify opportunities where automation technologies can support clients.
System enhancements & software upgrades to provide innovative solutions.
Deliver training sessions to facilitate the transfer of technical knowledge.
Market trends and developments in the legal, automation and AI industries.
