Job summary

Centric Talent is seeking a Senior DevOps & Systems Engineer to own the reliability, security and automation of the TW Group infrastructure across Linux and Microsoft environments. This is a hands‑on senior role working with the Software Development Team and IT Operations to support critical infrastructure, development environments, databases, container platforms and deployment pipelines.

The role emphasizes ownership of day‑to‑day operations while improving automation, monitoring, resilience

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Systems Administration or similar.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows server estates.
• Experience managing infrastructure supporting business-critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Administer Linux and Windows server environments.
• Provision and configure VMs, servers and services.
• Deploy and configure applications and infrastructure components.
• Monitor health, performance, security of systems.
• Investigate incidents and performance issues.
• Design monitoring, alerting and logging strategies.
• Manage Ansible automation for configuration.
• Support containerised environments with Docker, CRI‑O, Kubernetes.
• Administer Kubernetes clusters, workloads and services.
• Manage databases (MySQL, Galera, MSSQL).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with development teams on deployment processes.
• Maintain patching, security configs and DR capabilities.
