Zoopla Ltd. is hiring a Senior Data Engineer to build the next stage of our data platform. You’ll own end-to-end data engineering projects, design standard ingestion/export patterns, and embed governance across pipelines. The role partners with platform and analytics teams to align systems and accelerate data-driven decisions.

You’ll work in a hybrid setup, using Databricks on AWS, dbt, and Terraform, while shaping the evolution of our data cloud and enabling smart product insights.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience building and running production data pipelines.
• Strong Python and SQL.
• Deep experience with a modern lakehouse (Databricks, Unity Catalog) and dbt.

Responsabilités

• Own Data Engineering projects end to end, from direction to impact.
• Design and migrate pipelines to standard ingestion/export patterns.
• Build governance into pipelines (access, data, lineage, cost).
• Leverage AI to speed patterns while keeping safety in mind.
• Review code and mentor other engineers.
• Maintain production health and reliability.
