Job summary

Norton Rose Fulbright LLP in London is seeking a Senior Application Support Analyst to support the EMEA finance system (Aderant Sierra) and related tools. You will help finance operations, support senior stakeholders, and drive system improvements.

The role requires strong Aderant experience, advanced SQL skills, and a proactive, confidential, solutions-oriented approach within a large global law firm environment. Flexible working options are available.

Qualifications

• Ideally degree educated and/or 5+ years of experience in similar roles.
• Strong customer/user service abilities and ability to resolve complex issues.
• Deep technical/applications support experience, preferably FPMS.
• Advanced SQL proficiency and ability to run queries unsupervised.
• Experience within ITSM frameworks such as ITIL.
• Experience in a large global professional services environment.

Responsibilities

• User Support: assist application users and respond to queries from fee earners, secretaries and finance staff.
• Troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis: identify, analyse and resolve issues to minimise downtime.
• Coordinate with third party support, IT and finance operations to resolve issues.
• Provide advanced technical support for financial systems, SQL environments, and integrations; oversee month/year end processing.
• Configure enhancements and act as administrator for Aderant Expert, iTimekeep and BillBlast.
• Drive continuous improvement by analysing requirements and implementing changes.
• Develop procedures and processes for stakeholders; mentor junior team members.
