Job summary

Citi London is seeking a senior software engineer to own end-to-end design and delivery of scalable AI-enabled systems. You will collaborate across risk, AI platforms and product teams to shape roadmaps and mentor juniors, delivering production-grade solutions in a regulated banking environment.

You will work on data extraction, classification, translation, fraud detection, and workflow optimization, with a strong emphasis on resilience, explainability, and auditability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, science and engineering or related field.
• Graduate-level or continuing education is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and build of high-quality, reliable software that scales.
• Lead and manage technical components end-to-end, aligning with product strategy.
• Collaborate with Risk and AI platform teams to evolve Citi technology and procedures.
• Shape a compelling technical roadmap and provide mentorship to juniors.
• Ensure software quality through rigorous reviews and testing culture.
