Job summary

Barclay Simpson is seeking an experienced Security Engineer to own security tooling and lead end-to-end security engineering projects in a Microsoft environment. You will work across identity and access management, cloud security, vulnerability management and SIEM/detection, with a focus on SSO improvements and Zero Trust initiatives.

The role suits a hands-on security professional ready to take broader technical ownership within a small team.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Microsoft environment is preferred.
• Experience across Entra ID, AWS/GCP, SIEM and security automation is beneficial.
• Excellent collaboration with IT, Engineering and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own security tooling and end-to-end security engineering projects.
• Improve SSO and access management, joiner/mover/leaver processes, and visibility across the app estate.
• Contribute to enterprise-level Zero Trust initiatives.
• Automate manual security processes and work closely with IT and engineering teams.
