Job summary

Lloyds Banking Group is seeking a Security Design Consultant to join our Hybrid team across Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester or Bristol. You'll design secure solutions, document controls and help shape our security strategy with a pragmatic, risk-based approach.

Qualifications

• Ability to develop, design secure solutions and produce a Security Design documenting the controls.
• The ability to deconstruct a solution / network architecture.
• Identify threats and mitigations and evaluate soundness using industry practices (e.g., STRIDE, MITRE).
• Translate threats into risks and advise on likelihood and impact for the business.
• Communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Produce and articulate security designs to all project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and document secure designs for solutions and controls.
• Deconstruct solution architectures to identify risk and mitigation approaches.
• Assess threats and vulnerabilities and apply standard security practices.
• Translate threats into risk terms for business stakeholders.
• Explain security designs clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
