Job summary

bet365 is hiring a Software Developer to join a small, agile team focused on building scalable solutions for Risk and Regulatory. You will work across web client and server-side components using Typescript, React, JavaScript and Golang, with Linux and Google Cloud Platform as core technologies.

The role emphasises delivering high-quality code in a fast-paced environment and contributing to an ever-growing road map. The position supports a hybrid working-from-home policy in the UK.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience within web client or server-side development.
• Technically strong in Typescript, React, JavaScript or any other front-end frameworks.
• Technically strong in Golang or any other server-side language.
• Responsive design, mobile and web development.
• Ability to clearly communicate technical matters to people across different areas of the Business.
• Experience working with Linux.
• Experience working with Cloud platforms.
• Experience developing low latency, highly available and scalable solutions.
• Working in an environment with high volumes of transactions.
• Experience working with Scrum or other agile software development methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Building, supporting and enhancing existing application code bases.
• Maintaining clean coding practices.
• Identifying technical areas of improvement.
• Supporting Product Owners as required.
• Supporting the Testing team during testing phases of projects.
• Contributing to solution proposals.
• Creating work effort estimates.
