Tempcover is at the forefront of the fast-growing world of short-term insurance, offering flexible and quick car insurance solutions. The Risk Pricing Lead joins the Underwriting & Pricing team to build, validate and manage pricing models that drive profitability and growth.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Data and Product to implement models, present insights to senior stakeholders, and ensure regulatory compliance with FCA expectations.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience building pricing or risk models with data assessment, feature selection and validation.
• Proven ability to price where data is limited and to balance profitability with customer outcomes.
• Experience owning pricing beyond launch, monitoring metrics and governance.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain pricing models using claims and policy data.
• Assess data quality and decide what can be modelled, documenting assumptions.
• Price effectively with limited history using credibility, external data and benchmarks.
• Lead commercial management of models post-live and monitor performance.
