Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) is seeking a Research Contracts Coordinator to join the Research Contracts Team at its Oxford Road Campus in Manchester. The role involves coordinating the preparation, negotiation and execution of research contracts, including clinical trial and collaboration agreements, ensuring timely and compliant processes.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate qualification in science or healthcare discipline, or in Law.
• Experience in contract negotiation and execution.
• Knowledge of Information Governance in relation to research.

Responsabilités

• Assist and facilitate in the preparation, negotiation and execution of a range of research contracts (eg clinical trial agreements, collaboration agreements, funding awards, material transfer agreements).
• Liaise with MFT colleagues and external parties to negotiate contractual obligations; especially for collaboration agreements with multiple parties.
• Maintain a portfolio of contract templates and advise on their use to MFT colleagues.
• Advise on compliance with the Data Protection Act, UK GDPR and Caldicott principles.
• Ensure correct contract documents are used, agreed and executed in a timely manner to meet project targets.
• On-site requirement: candidates to be on site for two of the three contracted working days.
