Job summary

Dudley Building Society is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Apprentice to begin a career in finance, data and regulatory reporting. No prior regulatory reporting experience is required as the role is designed to teach you through a structured apprenticeship alongside the Finance team.

You will assist with preparing regulatory returns, learn data validation and reconciliations, and maintain working papers with supervision. The role offers training, development and a path into Regulatory Reporting.

Qualifications

• No prior regulatory reporting experience required; curiosity and attention to detail are essential.
• A good standard of numeracy, written communication and digital literacy.
• Confidence using spreadsheets and working with data, with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of assigned regulatory returns under supervision, ensuring tasks are accurate and on time.
• Gather, organise and validate regulatory data from approved sources and learn how data maps into returns.
• Complete routine reconciliations, movement analysis and validation checks, documenting findings clearly.
