Job summary

Essential Employment is seeking a Registered Building Inspector to join our team in Shrewsbury on a hybrid basis. The role covers domestic, complex and commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with Building Regulations and related legislation.

The position is full-time on a temporary contract. You can work from home or be on site once a week; inspections are scheduled around 08:30 and 14:00, with a varied workload and support for the Building Control Team in developing Building Control and

Qualifications

We are seeking a Registered Building Inspector to join the team and work on a variety of projects to include domestic, complicated and commercial buildings.
To provide and implement and enforce the requirements of the Building Regulations and Associated Legislation in an effective and efficient manner, both in an office and site environment and dealing with a varied and heavy workload, to ensure that Statutory Requirements are met.
To support the Building Control Team in their daily duties, including the marketing and development of Building Control and Energy services.
