Job summary

Radiotherapy UK in North London invites applications for a Band 7 Radiotherapy Physicist to join the North Middlesex Hospital radiotherapy physics team. The role offers development of clinical and technical skills within a supportive, collaborative environment, with access to TrueBeam, Halcyon, Eclipse planning, and SGRT capabilities.

Flexible working is supported with a hybrid model of on-site and remote work, and the post provides opportunities to contribute to planning, QA, and service

Qualifications

• Honours degree in a physical science or equivalent.
• IPEM training exit certificate or equivalent experience.
• HCPC registration as Clinical Scientist or within 12 months of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide general Radiotherapy Physics service to North Middlesex Hospital.
• Specialise in one or more sections within Radiotherapy Physics as needed.
• Work with Radiotherapy Radiographers and clinicians to ensure safe delivery of treatments.
• Develop and implement knowledge-based planning and QA automation initiatives.
