The post is suited to STP completers with HCPC registration or nearing completion, with exposure to Varian TrueBeam, Halcyon, and Eclipse planning. Flexible hybrid working is available across the Trust.

Qualifikationen

• Produce routine and complex treatment plans for external beam radiotherapy using planning systems.
• Advise clinical staff on the effects of treatment plan options on patient dose distributions.
• Check and approve routine and complex treatment plans, dose calculations and templates.
• Contribute to knowledge-based planning and QA automation within Radiotherapy Physics.

Aufgaben

• Produce routine and complex treatment plans for external beam radiotherapy using planning systems.
• Advise clinical staff on treatment plan options and patient setup to optimise dose distributions.
• Check and approve plans, dose calculations, and templates produced by others.
• Provide support to Physics computing in Radiotherapy; write software to department needs and monitor computing systems.
• Participate in acceptance testing and commissioning of new equipment as appropriate.
