EY UK is hiring for a Manager, Research and Development Tax - Costing, Birmingham, hybrid. The role sits in UK R&D tax relief (merged scheme); Patent Box, with responsibilities spanning client facing interactions and cross-team collaboration.

The successful candidate will bring senior experience in corporation tax or R&D tax, hold ACA/CA/ACCA/ATT/CTA, and demonstrate advanced Excel skills to support costings and risk management.

Formación

• Experienced corporation tax or R&D tax practitioner.
• Fully qualified ACA, CA, ACCA, ATT, or CTA.
• Strong Excel skills including XLOOKUP, IF functions, and pivot tables.
• Outgoing relationship skills with effective review and risk escalation.

Responsabilidades

• Work alongside teams preparing and delivering R&D tax claims on time.
• Lead client interactions with finance, tax, and IT stakeholders.
• Build relationships internally and externally to win and expand work.
• Support cash grants and Patent Box applications within Innovation team.
