Qualifications

Physics, optics, photonics or related discipline.
Post PhD research experience.
Experimental or applied R&D background.
Laser-based technology experience is desirable.
Optical systems, waveguides or fibre technologies.
Python and/or MATLAB proficiency.
Translate complex findings into clear, practical outcomes.

Responsibilities

Design, run and analyse experiments.
Develop new technical concepts, processes and applications.
Build data analysis and modelling tools using Python and/or MATLAB.
Collaborate with engineering teams to turn research into practical solutions.
Contribute to customer-facing technical projects and collaborative R&D.
Gain experience across research, validation and product development.
