Riverlane in Cambridge is seeking a Quantum Error Correction Researcher to help build the world’s first QEC stack and unlock practical quantum computing.

You will join a multidisciplinary team of mathematicians, physicists, computer scientists and software engineers, working on AMO devices and cross-cutting research.

Qualifications

• PhD in mathematics, physics, CS, or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with quantum computing and AMO qubits.
• Proficiency in Python and/or C++.
• Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Build deep expertise in quantum computing and QEC on AMO qubits.
• Develop and test QEC protocols and software.
• Collaborate with hardware partners to optimise QEC protocols.
• Publish papers and present at conferences.
