Job summary

Unily is hiring a QA Engineer to join a hybrid role based in the UK. You will design, execute and automate tests to ensure high-quality software while collaborating closely with developers, product managers and other stakeholders.

You will contribute to manual, exploratory and automated testing, identify risks, validate requirements, and help improve testing methodologies across the team.

Qualifications

• Web applications testing across multiple layers.
• Experience across different testing types and techniques.
• Professional test automation experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product and development teams during design to identify issues early.
• Refine testability and edge cases with the team.
• Create comprehensive test cases for functionality coverage.
• Execute manual test cases and document discrepancies.
• Analyze results to identify root causes of defects.
• Report and describe bugs with clear steps to reproduce.
• Develop and execute detailed test plans and automate where possible.
• Maintain automated tests to remain effective.
• Provide triage support and assist with customer questions as needed.
• Promote QA best practices and continuous improvement.
