Job summary

TÜV SÜD Group is seeking a Project Manager for our laboratory testing facilities in Segensworth, Fareham. This 12-month, temporary role focuses on managing test and certification projects for components used in transport applications, with emphasis on environmental, mechanical, EMC, battery, RF, and SAR testing.

You will liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure deliverables meet timelines and budgets, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Laboratory based product testing knowledge within TIC or related field.
• Excellent organisation and multitasking abilities to manage multiple clients and projects.
• Strong customer focus with proactive problem solving and delivery.
• Clear written and spoken communication with internal and client teams.
• Self-driven with a positive can-do attitude and willingness to adapt.

Responsibilities

• Act as principal intermediary between client and testing facilities from start to finish.
• Ensure projects are delivered on-time, within scope and budget.
• Develop detailed project plans and track progress with clients.
• Coordinate test samples, documentation, and workflow with supervisors.
• Manage invoicing and timely delivery of contractual deliverables.
• Maintain accurate forecasts using the project management tool.
• Coordinate internal resources, subcontractors and equipment hires as needed.
• Visit clients as required and handle administrative tasks.
