Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is recruiting for a Project Engineer in Redhill, Surrey. The role blends building and migrations with ongoing improvements to hosted IT environments for accountancy firms, offering hybrid working with three days in the office.

You will manage onboarding, migrations, refresh projects and data centre consolidation across Windows Server, AD, M365 and hosted desktops, documenting work clearly for handover and future templates.

Qualifications

• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Ability to configure and document firewalls/VPNs and site-to-site connectivity.
• Customer-facing technical delivery in MSP/hosted environments.
• Clear documentation and handover notes are essential.

Responsibilities

• Build and prepare customer environments across Windows Server, AD and hosted desktops.
• Support onboarding and migration projects for new customers.
• Migrate users/data/apps/profiles and Microsoft 365 services.
• Contribute to data centre consolidation and service improvements.
