Job summary

NUVIA in the UK is seeking an Assistant Project Controls Engineer to support cost management, reporting, and document control across a project portfolio. You will work closely with Project Managers and PMO functions to ensure timely, accurate project information and governance.

The role is based at Milton Park, Abingdon with travel to Culham, adopting a hybrid pattern with three days in the office per week. A background in project controls and strong Excel skills are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in a project controls role within a project-based environment.
• Understanding of cost management, reporting, change control, and performance measurement.
• Experience preparing reports, maintaining project data, and supporting governance activities.
• Knowledge of document control processes and document management systems.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word with strong data accuracy.
• Strong organisational, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain project performance reports, dashboards and management information for governance.
• Support cost management activities including budget tracking, expenditure reporting, forecasting, variance analysis and change control administration.
• Administer and maintain project documentation, ensuring records are controlled, auditable and compliant with procedures.
• Support collection, validation and analysis of project performance data for timely information to teams and stakeholders.
• Coordinate project control processes including reporting cycles, action tracking, meeting support and data management.
