Job summary

Cancer Research UK is seeking a collaborative and delivery-focused Programme Manager to shape and deliver our insight-driven, audience-led Do Proposition strategy across events and fundraising activity. You’ll coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver products and initiatives that strengthen supporter engagement and fund life-saving research.

• Experience of project management principles and methodologies – formal qualifications desirable.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong facilitation skills for cross-functional teams and meetings.
• Ability to navigate complex environments and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Impactful conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
• Growth mindset with continuous improvement of processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with senior stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the drive for continued growth of CRUK audiences and supporters with end-to-end delivery plans.
• Manage agile cross-functional teams to deliver against audiences, volume, value and other objectives.
• Foster a culture of end-to-end delivery and build strong working relationships across teams.
• Set and uphold standards for proposition squad processes and cross-functional touchpoints.
• Develop resource plans, briefs and business cases with Senior Programme Manager and SLT.
• Coordinate changes to implementation plans with cross-functional stakeholders and governance frameworks.
• Facilitate group activities and decisions with cross-functional proposition stakeholders.
• Ensure governance and stage gates are understood and followed within the portfolio.
