Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner to optimize manufacturing schedules and resource allocation for operations. This hybrid role supports on-site and remote collaboration to meet customer demands while maintaining efficient use of materials and machinery.

You will develop detailed production plans, manage inventory levels, and coordinate with sales, procurement, and production teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in production planning or scheduling.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical skills to forecast demand and manage data.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Understanding of manufacturing processes and inventory management.

Responsibilities

Develop detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts and priorities.
Monitor progress and adjust schedules for changes.
Manage inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
Collaborate with sales, procurement, and production teams to ensure on-time delivery.
Analyze production data to forecast future needs and improvements.
Ensure plans align with capacity, efficiency targets, and cost-control goals.
