Job summary

SEA Ltd in Barnstaple is seeking a Production Engineering Technical Author full-time to create, maintain and manage manufacturing documentation across the product lifecycle. You will ensure accuracy, configuration control and alignment to approved product definitions.

Based at our Barnstaple site, this role requires onsite work 4-5 days a week and offers a salary circa £30k depending on experience. Join a team delivering world-class naval and defence solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience creating and maintaining technical or manufacturing documentation.
• Strong document control and configuration management skills.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and manufacturing information.
• Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or production environment.
• Experience using PLM or document management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead creation and maintenance of manufacturing documentation, including SOPs and build records.
• Maintain PLM document control and tooling records; support data analysis and continuous improvement.
