Job summary

• You will need to have previous experience working in a procurement function, with a good understanding of Supply Chain and general procurement practices.
• Strong numerical, commercial and IT skills, excellent organisation and time management, and a keen eye for detail.
• A confident communicator at all levels, proactive in problem-solving, risk identification, and managing change.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound purchase requisitions from multiple production facilities and process in a timely manner.
• Place orders against predetermined price lists and supply agreements.
• Obtain quotations from pre-approved suppliers for items outside price agreements.
• Expedite orders and confirm expected delivery dates.
• Keep systems and facilities up to date with relevant information.
• Review and sign off invoices to ensure prompt payment.
• Provide holiday cover within the team.
