Job summary

MongoDB is seeking a driven Pre-Sales Solution Architect for our London-based hybrid team. You will guide customers in designing scalable data-driven architectures and articulate the business value of MongoDB solutions.

The role requires 5–8 years in related fields, strong technical & communication skills, and the ability to travel up to 25%. You will collaborate with sales, engineers, and product teams to win deals and ensure customer success.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of related industry experience, including 2 years in a customer-facing role.
• Experience implementing scalable and highly available distributed systems in the cloud and on-premises.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills for leadership.
• Ability to work with a cross-functional sales team to drive end-to-end deals.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable and performant applications and architectures for large software projects using MongoDB.
• Advise customers on architecture patterns and optimization strategies, communicating business value.
• Partner with the sales team to drive account success, prioritization, qualification, and pipeline generation.
• Generate demand through technical initiatives, events, and account-based marketing activities.
• Foster customer relationships, build champions, and ensure satisfaction.
• Mentor other Solutions Consulting team members and stay updated on MongoDB product offerings.
• Engage in ongoing training to stay current with product suite and industry trends.
