Job summary

Butler Rose is assisting in recruiting a Business Analyst for a hybrid role in Wokingham, Berkshire. The successful candidate will focus on Power BI reporting, BI development and data governance to translate data into commercially meaningful insights.

You will work with senior management to enhance management information and ensure data integrity, with a mix of office and home days. The role demands strong Power BI expertise, advanced Excel skills and the ability to investigate data anomalies

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Business Analysis, BI or data-focused roles.
• Strong Power BI expertise with visualisation and data modelling.
• Advanced Excel skills with complex datasets and multiple sources.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting.
• Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Validate data across sources ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Investigate discrepancies between reports and source data and implement improvements.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into analytical solutions.
• Deliver clear, compelling reports and presentations to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Support data governance policies and reporting controls.
