Vodafone Group Plc in Newbury is seeking a Portfolio Risk & Governance Specialist to ensure investments are governed effectively, risks are understood, and decision‑making is supported by robust insight.

Working across Enterprise Portfolio Management, Central Risk and a wide range of stakeholders, you will build governance processes, monitor risks, produce high‑quality reporting, and support investment boards with clear recommendations.

Qualifications

• Strong stakeholder management across diverse teams and functions.
• Knowledge of portfolio risk governance and its impact on strategic outcomes.
• Analytical approach using data and insight to support decision‑making.
• Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with EPM, Central Risk, and the wider organisation to align investments with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Provide governance, oversight, and constructive challenge to support informed executive decision‑making.
• Monitor and extend portfolio risks; identify issues early and manage them effectively.
• Produce high‑quality risk reporting and governance information for clear visibility and action.
• Support governance forums, investment boards, and portfolio reviews with insights and recommendations.
• Promote transparency, continuous improvement, and shared ownership across the portfolio.
• Use data to guide investment priorities and strengthen portfolio performance.
• Build relationships with stakeholders at all levels to influence outcomes.
