Nottingham City Council is recruiting two Planning Officers to join the Development Management Service in Nottingham. You will assess planning applications, provide pre-application advice, undertake site visits and prepare reports that shape the city’s future development.

This permanent, hybrid role offers a starting salary of £42,563 rising to £45,444 per year, including a £5,000 market supplement, with pro-rata pay for part-time workers.

Qualifikationen

• Undergraduate degree in Town Planning or related discipline.
• Postgraduate qualification in planning or related subject.
• Experience of assessing planning applications or working within a development management environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain planning matters clearly to a range of audiences.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess planning proposals, interpret technical information and make well-reasoned recommendations.
